In spite of countless efforts to improve the divorce review process by making divorce documents easier to file and be reviewed by the clerks, it continues to be a rather detailed process.
When clerks are reviewing a file, they are mainly looking for inconsistencies or inaccuracies in the information. This is a short list of what clerks diligently look for in a divorce package:
- Parties’ names
- The children’s names and birth of date
- Date of marriage and Separation date
- Type of custody and Access Arrangement
- Child Support amounts
